thank you everybody so much. as snoopy correctly remembers, we think this is a post-herpes zoster neuralgia. actually the only 2 remedies we hve tried were rhus tox 30. (she thought there was perhāps a slight improvement initially but almost negligible and then nothing) then one dose of Lyc 1m (no result noticed). it is quite difficult to convince her to take anything now, she is so tired of nothing working.
what would be the best first remedy to try? perhaps bryonia for the reason shirley suggested? would that be a 30c dose?
or are Mez and or Ars indicated and would that also be 30c?
as for NatM...? yes there has been an important bereavement after amid a life full of losses and grief. (lost her daughter 8years ago)
forgive my ignorance. i'm not sure where to begin, how long to give each remedy a chance before trying another and whether it is a bad idea (isuppose so) to take more than one remedy at a time.
