Hi Everyone,
I received a response from a learned Homeopath/Pharmacist and here is the information:

quote:
This is a question that has been much revisited over the last few days and I
don't have a concrete answer. From discussions with people far more
knowledgeable in these things than I, some interesting points come to light.

In the US they are talking of irradiating mail with X- or gamma- rays using
food irradiation machines. These are of similar power and energy as airport
x-ray machines (and are actually unlikely to kill anthrax if you look at the
microbiology of the organism, but that's just by the way !)

>From my own experience, I know that remedies are unaffected by being x-rayed
in this way (I have taken remedies overseas via airports many many times
with no change in effectiveness and international mail has been routinely
subjected to random x-rays for years), so I would be hopeful that there
would be little effect in this case.

Perhaps over-hopeful I admit, but in light of no research evidence being
available, this is the best I can do at the moment.

On the whole, I guess I'll try to get my remedies by other means - but will try at least one or two through the mail and see if it still works or not. Of course, I realise if it doesn't 'work' it could be other factors, such as - the wrong remedy, etc....so....sigh.
