That is so very sad, Divina. Sorry you lost your friend.

I vividly remember reading in Herbert Roberts book about palliation in deep pathology - he said it is very tricky and really takes an experienced Homeopath to do it. He said they are some of the hardest cases to treat effectively without hastening death.

I'm glad you posted this - because it is good sense, imo, in cases like this - for one to seek treatment in person. Especially since we know that often Homeopathy can turn things more than we could know in some cases. (I recall one case where he said the life-expectancy was weeks and the patient lived another few years without pain - in relative health considering her pathology).
