Carcinosin, as with any other remedy, must only be given when the symptoms fit. Not because anyone said "it should be given if there is cancer in the family". Everyone has some family member with cancer--it would be stupidly destructive to dose everyone with carcinosin indescriminately.

All the remedies listed above are good suggestions--but the basic rule always applies--give only when the symptoms match the remedy, when the remedy fits the case.

Two years ago, a friend of mine was diagnosed with cancer of the pancreas, and she "outlived" her prognosis by over a year; the problem she could not overcome in her treatment, ironically, resulted by not being treated in person. She consulted an extremely well known homeopath in India who has made cancer treatment a specialty--he treated her via email and telephone, and gave her excellent remedies in unfortunate, too-high potencies...something he would never have done if he had been able to see her in person. When he did finally come to Toronto to see her, the potencies he selected went from the 1M and 200c range to nothing higher than a 6c. Unfortunately, the damage had already been done. By then, the aggravations had become so painful my friend was put on morphine at the hospital...and that fed into the unlucky "one thing leads to another" pattern that soon ended her life.

So, be certain you find someone whose skills are well honed in this treatment, with experience treating patients homeopathically while they undergo traditional cancer therapies. Constant physical monitoring, with face to face consultation, is all important...I can't stress this enough, because I know that if the good homeopath who treated my friend had only consulted with her in person, his treatment could easily have saved her.
