Lisa, there are several reasons why I vaccinate. Family pressure is one but so is fear.

I do know many folks who've had bad reactions from vaccines but I also know a family who lost a child to Pertussis and well, you know, it scared the **** out of me.

I also know of 2 families who had The Department Of Child And Family Services called on them to investigate neglect. In both cases the families pediatricians placed the calls because the mothers would not vaccinate. In one of the families the child was removed from the home while investigatio0ns went on - she was returned shortly.

Can you imagine????
