Question

Apparently there is notable aluminum content in tea bags, although not in 'loose' tea. I came across this information while 'doing' chemistry at Massey University. Don't know how true it is, this was quite a few years ago - when the whole aluminum / altzheimers thing was going on. I don't know why the difference between bags & loose - none of the lecturers could explain it to me. Saw some pretty fancy pictures of 'brain tangles' from autopsies of both diagnosed altzheimers & cases of aluminum poisoning - they looked the same. These were presented at a seminar concerning the 'overwhelming' evidence of aluminums relationship with altzheimers. Since then (over here at any rate) it has been decided by 'the powers that be' - that there is no relationship between aluminum & altzheimers. Having read up on alumina & related Rxs & recently attended a lecture on the same, i'm not inclined to blindly trust the pronouncements of 'the powers that be'. Clearly aluminum is not the only cause or contributing factor known with altzheimers, but i know i avoid the use of products containing it, foil etc. i hope homoeopathic treatment helps your Father, good case management can't always cure everything, but it can help make the road alot smoother. Remember well chosen Rxs can help you cope better if the going gets tough too.
