A question about the "ring pull" cans: My daughter's fruit cups come that way. I tested them against a magnet and they were attracted. I thought that magnets were not attracted to aluminum.

Another question.... I replaced the filter in my whole house humidifier and it said, "To recycle, place with other aluminums." Does this mean that I have little aluminum ions floating around my house contaminating everything?
