The difficulty is (here in the UK at least) that head lice are classed as a medical condition. Anything which purports to treat a medical condition must either go down the route of double blind clinically controlled trials and approval via the Medicines Control Agency, or it can be sold as an unlicenced herbal remedy (providing it is herbal of course). If the latter, you cannot use a trade name, you cannot make any claims as to the effectiveness of the treatment and you can supply no written indications for the product's use.

However, the rules only seem to cover an actual product. If anyone wants to email me privately, I'm happy to share the particular method which was effective for us. If you use it and it works for you all I ask is that you let me know about it.<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>
