Rita,
Apis 30c is a low potency, yet the injury sounded (from what you were describing) like it either needed a slightly higher potency (200c), or more frequent doses, (3-4 times). Swelling should have gone down faster then what you are describing. I've only used Apis 30c once for an actual bee sting, for my sister. The sting area had swollen up immediately and I was really worried to see how fast and large her forearm had swollen. So I repeated the dose a few times every 10 minutes or so, then followed up with one last dose 1 hour later, and it was gone. I think my sister will need to be treated on a constitional level, as this is not a good sign for a first time bee sting. But she doesn't give to much credence to homeopathy. Would much rather use crappy allopathic drugs.
Frank or GM will know, but does it sound infected? I don't know anything about putting things like potato poultices on wounds. Have never had to resort to it, as Homeopathy has always worked fast when it is the correct remedy.
