Been reading this thread and it got me thinking. Apparently head lice and scabies are rampant in the schools in this area. I have heard that some Mums are finding it particularly difficult to get rid of the scabies. (where do they come from anyway?)
I wonder if this is because the insecticidal stuff for them (it) is becoming ineffective too ? (like Janyce said about the insecticidal shampoo) So from reading the posts, would Staph be effective for this too? Would the knowledgeable ones enlighten me please - I am curious.

I can also remember getting nits at school and my Mum used to boil what looked like little chips of wood in an old pan and the liquid was used on your hair. You bought them in a paper bag from the chemist and we called them "Squasha chips" I now think this was probably the "Quassia" Anna referred to in her post. Seems a coincidence.
