Why give the child so many remedies? Surely it is only in one state at one time. Tub sounds good but are they usually affectionate like that? Is the child jealous of other people taking the mother's attention away? Is he afraid people will comment about something particular about him? Fear to be laughed at is a Baryta symptom but he doesn't sound like Baryta carb.

Look at the rubric "Fear of the opinion of others" -AMBR, bar-c, germ, nux-v, ozone, prot, puls.

also "Abrupt, yet affectionate" - aur-m, lyc, nux-v, PULS

also "Restless children, roving, wandering" - bell, bry, nux-v

also "Delusion, laughed at" - aq-mar, bar-c, germ, ign, lach, nux-v, ph-ac, psor, sep.

Notice nux-vomica? It's just a thought
