We are back from our vacation. It was quite humid in India and we had stopped the application of aloe ointment. Her eczema is very irritated. She had eczema on the back on her knee and that spot was almost free, but now the area is irritated again. She itches it and thin brown flaky scabs form on them. The creases are raw and red, not bloody. All the other eczema spots have aggravation. the creases are red and raw, the other other areas also have raw places where she has itched and torn the skin.
We have observed aggravation in her screaming fits. They have been occurring more frequently and for longer period. She tends to starts on them when she doesn't get her way, or when we scold her. Her thumb sucking has increased a lot. These changes in behavior could be because of the new surroundings and meeting new people. She was extremely shy and generally tended to get close to people on prolonged contact.
She did het some insect bites which got red and inflammed, some of which she scratched and broke the skin, we had to finally apply .1% hydrocortisone cream to stop the itching.
All in all, I feel that the ac fl, didn't causes the changes, the aggravation in eczema could be because of the stopping of the lotion and the behavior changes could be because of the travel and excitement of gping to a new place.
What should I do now?
