Hi,

She was first given Silica 1M once a week for three weeks for the fluid in her ear. This was after she was on antibiotics which were doing her no good. We started noticed dry spots on her skin during the antibiotics and so stopped it. We didn't see any behavior or other changes with the silicea (we were new to homeo and wasn't very watchful ). We then took her to our nearby homeopath. She prescribed Tuberculinum (3-4 doses of Tub every 12hrs), based on incidence of TB on the mothers side of the family. Tuberculinum agravated the ear infection with no change for the better, she was then given
belladonna200c which raised her temp too high (105) and we had to bring it down with
motrin. A month later, she was then given Lycopodium(200c) since her ears still had
fluid in them, we saw some change to the better (sleeping e.t.c) and so her homeopath gave her one dose of lyc. 1M. This bought out a full blown ear infection with high fever and the fever lasted longer than a day and then she was given Belladonna which brought her fever down and cleared the fluid. A month later we were told by our GP that the rashes we were seeing was atopic ezcema. She still
had a little fluid in her ear. The homeopath tried 3 doses of Sulphur (200C), for the eczema, no difference. The she gave Sulphur 30C twice a day, and we saw no change. Then she was given
lyc 12c 2X daily. Her ezcema was getting better, but I don't know whether it was because of the lycopodium or because the homeopath gave us the go ahead to use zinc oxide diaper rash ointment(I've a feeling it is the zinc oxide that was healing the skin), she still had intense itching. And she was still getting new dry red spots.

At one point of time her eczema was oozing and cracked. Now it is dry with white spots and the skin is rough and wrinkled.

It was after the lyc 12c that I came to this board. She was initially given calc-p (JohnStanston), then Phos, she got canker sores. Then ferr-phos when she got fever and sore throat. And finally she was given pulsatilla.
