Hi
I had posted on this topic and received some good help during september/october of last year. Her eczema was much improved, but not fully gone. During the winter months we had good experience treating her fever/ear infection etc with Pulsatilla. we didn't notice much difference to her eczema during these episodes.
We have been using aloe based moiturising lotion on her whole body, if we miss an application, her eczema spots become dry and she starts itching.
However I have been noticing that she is itching more and the areas are becoming slightly raw. This could either be because we started taking her swimming (but only once a week) or it could her body's response to a new baby.
My daughter is now 3yrs. The eczema started when she was 2yrs old after after a bad winter with lot of ear infections which were treated with antibiotics. We started homeo for her ear infections and her eczema began then.
Her food liking keeps changing, she develops a liking for something, eats only that and then stops liking it. On the whole she likes fruits, doesn't like vegetables, like meat. Likes icecream, cheese, whipped cream, yogurt. Doesn't like nuts. Likes spicy food. Doesn't like desserts that are too sweet, but at the same time likes donuts.
She goes to the daycare, gets along well with the kids, but is shy when she is with us. clings to us when we have lots of visitors, but if there is just one or two she makes friends after some time.
She used to have a lot of temper tantrums, it is much less after the birth of her baby sister. She is very affectionate and loves cuddling. She is very loving to her sister, but tends to be rather rough. She is a thumb sucker. Was more attached to the father, but after the baby seems to want mother more. She loves music and has a good ear for tunes. Her body is quite hairy.
I'm not sure whether I have given all the necessary information. We did take her to a homeopath in this state, but didn't have much success. I have not given a history of all the homeo medications she has been given.
I'll appreciate your help.
Thank you
Bijo
