I do not dismiss a physical/cognitive reason for his behaviors. He does not have dyslexia because I taught him to read and he reads to me daily. I would have picked up on this.
He loves music it has always calmed him. Large crowds of people seem to over stimulate especially if they are active (like a group of people swimming as opposed to agroup of people watching a movie.) Bright days make him feel good. Darkness gives him fears. He does seek out others especially boys his age, and has a neighbor girl his age that he plays with sometimes.
