I am not a homeopath, so I can not offer you that kind of help. However, as a homeopathic remedy user, I feel confident that homeopathy can be of use to you. I would also like to mention that it is my understanding that as we get older our metabolism slows down, (no matter how active we consider ourselves to be) and this makes it more difficult to shed extra pounds than when we were young. If you are breast feeding your baby, this might also have a side effect of making it difficult for you to lose weight, but of course, this was a recent situation, as you said that you have endured this extra weight for the past ten years despite diet and exercise. Never-the- less breast feeding might have some bearing on your current weight retention. Another factor envolved is weight(fat) distribution. Some women experience great difficulty, almost an impossiblility to lose weight around certain sections of their bodies. You may already be familiar with these issues. I have found that a daily stretching program, such as a mild yoga helps tone the body. Weight lifting is also helpful, but I am sure you get plenty of exercise with a new baby in the house. Perhaps homeopathy can help balance your system so you suffer less effects from the above, if indeed these are some of the causes for your concern. Sincerely, Mselle
