Does your daughter live in the UK - if so could encounter problems if she doesn't want to be induced - they don't like to leave a baby more than 2 weeks overdue (especially if it means possible labour at weekends as they are out playing golf then!) - if every thing is ok and she really doesn't want to be induced then you may have to fight for her right not to be -

If she is induced I think Miranda Castro's Mother and Baby book does advice how to deal with this.
