Hmmm...

I tried to read the Bates book some time ago and it did seem like a lot of very hard work. But they are just muscles after all.

Maria, can you go into more detail about the eye exercises please. I would be interested in trying them out, there are so many opportunities to do that sort of thing, a bit like pelvic floor exercises .

I am desperatly short-sighted , I can't read the big letter at the top of the chart, although now I have reached the ripe old age of almost 38, my optitian tell me it means I will not need reading glasses as soon. I think this is true as I have more ability to bring the top letter into focus now .

I borrowed Bates' book from the library and dropped it in the bath. I had to iron the pages before I returned it . There just isn't the same temptation to read in the shower .
