Alist of foods that aggravate sinus problems; citrus, sweets, chocolate, coffee, dairy (as you have mentioned, wheat and in some extreme cases corn and oats. These foods are not allergens. Some of the foods are a source of protiens that triggers an autoimmune response in the presence of allergens. I know of naturopaths in my area (Southern CT)that will eliminate these foods so that the homeopathic remedies will be more effective (remove the hand from the fire first then treat the burn).
Also a very important nutrient that has received a lot of attention are the essential fatty acids. These EFA's are found in flax seed, borage, and evening primrose oils. They are also found in beans, and cold water fatty fish like salmon. It is important to eliminate fried foods and hydroginated oils from the diet during periods of acute sinus problems. And remember your vitamins.

I no many who have followed this simple advise with success. I for one can control my allergies this way. I may need a couple of doses of Euphrasia off. when the birch trees dump thier pollen in the spring.

There are many books that cover this approach at health food stores.

Good luck.
