Okay, I'm a 50 year old male with what I believe to be eczema.
I have been to a dermatoligist with no real help. He did the patch test and infomed me of couple a things I am allergic to as to avoid in detergents and shampoos, which I have. I am allergic to lanolin.
I have been on a strict Cetaphil soap and hand creme for well over a year.
I am currently enduring the worst episode yet of this skin condition.
I only get this rash on my fingers, although they are showing up this time in my upper palm areas.
It starts out as small white headed blisters that are very painful to the touch. They spread rather fast and break open where the skin is crusty with small open sores. The blisters are extremely tender to the touch and are all over my fingers.
Nothing has helped this condition. I have suffered with this for 4-5 years. Subsided over the last year with the Cetaphil regime but is back worse than ever.
Going back to my primary care physician tomorrow and probably a dermatologist later in the week.
Not much hope.
Any suggestions are welcome.
Regards,
Larry Stanley
